Wow. This is just my mom’s little mud house speaking. Nicely written poem it is.

The smaller house answered back,
One hundred and fifty-odd years,
I stand firm on this ground. Seeing life, sights, sounds, and whatnot, 
families passed on, generations took birth, moved away, newer families, generations came, 
but, I haven’t ever come across something so huge as yourself,
there were once a lot of friends,
He stopped.
